Terms of Use

By visiting or using Michigan Recent Arrests, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or its tools. The terms apply to the Michigan statewide reference pages and their linked search features.

Michigan Recent Arrests is privately operated and is not affiliated with a government agency, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provide FCRA-covered services. The site is a public-record reference, not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency, and its information may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, housing, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose.

Role of This Site

This is a privately maintained Michigan reference site. It does not store official arrest, court, jail, or corrections records, and it cannot confirm custody, secure a person's release, or file a document with an agency.

The pages describe where Michigan arrest records and booking-photo resources may be found, point toward the relevant county, and link to state and outside search tools. Official records remain with the public body or court that created or keeps them. Records requests to covered Michigan public bodies are governed by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 and following sections, not by this private site's terms.

Rules for Using the Pages

Visitors must follow these limits while using the pages and tools:

  • Follow all laws that apply to your use of the site.
  • Do not use information to stalk, threaten, or harass another person.
  • Do not use site material for a decision regulated by the FCRA.
  • Do not try to enter a system or account without permission.
  • Do not run automated scraping or collection tools against the pages.
  • Do not interfere with the site's operation or another visitor's use.

No Consumer Reporting Service

Neither Michigan Recent Arrests nor its search or advertising partners is a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The site does not prepare consumer reports or provide an FCRA-regulated service. You agree not to use any material from the site or its tools for a purpose covered by that law, including:

Links and Search Partners

Links may lead to county rosters, sheriff or corrections pages, government portals, Michigan county sites, court tools, or third-party search services. A link is provided for navigation and is not an endorsement. Michigan Recent Arrests does not control those services, their records, privacy practices, fees, or availability. Review each provider's own rules before using it.

Provided As Is

All pages and tools are offered “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law permits, no promise is made that they will be:

  • Accurate, complete, or current.
  • Available without interruption.
  • Free of errors, defects, or security issues.
  • Matched to every result a partner tool may return.

Custody and public records can change at any time. Nothing on this private site is an official statement from a Michigan sheriff, jail, court, police agency, or corrections department.
